Why Red Light for Hair?

Red and near-infrared photobiomodulation has been studied for its potential role in supporting hair growth in people with certain forms of hair loss.

Low-level light therapy has also received FDA clearances in various devices for androgenetic alopecia, although that does not mean every red-light device—including this cap—is FDA-cleared or has been clinically tested for hair regrowth.

That distinction matters to us.

We selected this cap to provide an accessible way to incorporate red and near-infrared light into a consistent scalp-care routine at home.
